Per buyer request, here is a thread showing the condition of the frame at the time that I bought it in April 2021. I had intended to keep it as my own rider, but I found a complete replacement in a 2nd 73 Raleigh Competition:

I think it shows, as rough as the paint is now.... it was way worse before. I removed the rust with naval jelly and polished/waxed the remaining paint.
