I consider myself to fit precisely in the overlapping circles of collector and hoarder. I am definitely a bottom bracket hoarder. I looked through my box of these a few days ago to help answer a question here and it was at the same time embarrassing and comforting to see them all. I don’t reflect on my basement full of bike stuff but just yesterday I gave some old friends a tour during a visit and there was a collective jaw drop which made me wonder if I might be a weirdo.
