No, but I have been known to let my manager know that I'm taking a short-notice vacation day if the next day's weather looks too sweet to not ride. Luckily, he's rides, too, so he gets it.
When I was working, I used to take a vacation day to join the annual bike to work day to get a free pancake breakfast at city hall.
And then after I had learned of a safe route to work, I had been cycling to work until I retired. So, I never needed to play any hooky because I was riding everyday, rain or shine.
