just thinking out loud, if the bar it is mounted on is smooth, one might consider a wrap of some kind of friction tape, like maybe hockey stick tape? to lesson the urge to rotate. I dislike fudging mounts, in general, but even more, after getting something just right, trying to move it to another bike & going thru the whole exercise all over again. good luck! hope you get it quickly
