I stumbled upon this old post, and wanted to say this derailleur is by far the best operating, smoothest on any of my vintage (and kof) bikes I've built.
I was lucky to have the master Tim Neenan build a replacement for my stolen Sequoia a few years back - the SunXCD was the right pick for gears indeed! Few pics and build information
