The c-clip that holds the Wahoo quick release cam on their skewer popped off. It's proving very difficult to reassemble. I'm going to contact Wahoo for a warranty replacement.

Will I be OK to use my bike's stock skewer in place of the Wahoo skewer? I see no discernable differences except my bike's skewer cam and retaining nut are a little fancier looking (but not lightweight)?
