I'm 70 and happy to have dropped from 254 to 210 in the past few years. I gain a few back during the MIchigan winters when I ride less, but am working down to 200 where I will be really happy. One thing I did was stop eating in restaurants habitually. I didn't really change my diet, but cook at home 98% of the time and found that just using better, hand selected ingredients made a huge difference.
