They went on after my ride on Sunday, 12/5. I should put them on *before* that ride, as it was hella icy.
Putting them on was difficult but not as bad as some other times. I did use a tire lever and also some hand soap on the rim. In this case, success cam when I ended the job at the valve, while pushing the valve stem in to get the tube away from the rim.
