The rack is screwed to a 4mm or so spacer to the lower braze-on on the fork dropout. This particular model only has a lower braze on on the dropout and one on the rear dropout. I know some 720s from 1984 had dual brazeons on the dropouts, then some had single.

If you're able to zoom in, I also have some Cannondale Pannier hooks on that screw as well. In case I ever find some of the front Cannondale Panniers in good shape. It's interesting that you can find the rears in good shape- to my mind, those are the ones that get used all the time. The small ones are more rare and all beat up.


EDIT: I just saw a 1985 with dual dropout braze-ons. Hmmm.
