I am 55 going on 56. Just learned how to ride a bike 17 days ago (grew up in Ney York, always took subway as a kid). Bought a Electra Townie 3 and I tought myself to ride immediately, unfortunately did not know how to use the coaster break or front brake so also learned to stop with my feet. Now building up my endurance. Started with a mile now up to 3, will be up to 5 miles by the end of the month. I try to ride everyday. Major exercise is Tai Chi, elyptical machine, and a lto little weight training. I was really out of shape and overweight, still am but can feel fantastic results in only 17 days. Daily vitamine with Leucopen, also 1000 mg of vit C, 2000 mg of fish oil (omega fatty acids), Condratin, and a suppliment called "Green Earth"from GNC.
