This a fishing lake on the way home at dawn. Fishermen stand at their 'peg' for 48 hours at a go. They catch mostly carp, take a photo and release the fish back into the lake.

I personally don't see the attraction but on mornings such as today it makes more sense just for the beauty. Over 4 million people do it every year.

I swear this house was leaning into the road last time. But it is definitely tumbling away now. Those chimney pots must be at least 3 feet from the vertical . The National Trust has a preservation list on these places. You can't even paint a door without signed consent from 5 different statutory bodies. Even if your family has owned it for centuries, you can do almost nothing without permission. Changing something physically is out of the question.
