Two rides yesterday. New Bike Day to start, an 11-mile shakedown ride of my Univega Super Speciale:

A bit later I hopped on my trusty Schwinn Speedster for a 23-mile ride to pick up spokes from Marcus at Yojimbo's Garage:

The wind made the ride home on the Schwinn a bit more challenging than my knees would have liked. First gear was too low, second too high. (I was in third gear much of the way to YJ.) I need to figure out some change. (It's not clear why a narrower range of gears on Sturmey-Archer hubs wasn't more common.) Most of the time it's fine though, so inertia has kept me from doing anything.
