ANT+ is many to many but BT is one to one. Or at least has historically been. I agree with @Steve B. that it shouldn't be an issue. I've seen as it of cases where computers do things people weren't expecting. And I've also seen overly cautious people trying to avoid having to support more than they're capable of.
