I mentioned the AC seatpost because that's the one several people have had trouble with,, including myself. On those things, it's the adjusting bolt that breaks leaving the saddle dangling unrideable. Mine broke on the top of a small mountain pass while on a solo ride. I found a ball bearing and forced it into the post to hold the saddle on enough to descend into town to find a bolt.
It was actually the collar bolt that I broke. Too much torque. After 500 miles I should have just left the seat height where it was. Stupid me.
