I'm still trying to find the pictures of the Raleigh that I had in college (a '78? International maybe?) which I ran as a straight bar cyclocross bike. It was my campus commuter, and elegantly handled the gravel toe paths that I would ride to and from school (VaTech). While I think of that with nostalgia, I look at my future build with more than a few questions. I can't make out the serial number b/c the paint's kinda thick, but I believe this is an '92 Technium 450 (s/n R

20257)? You can ignore the bars, they're just a place holder. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was a 700c frame which accepted my 130 rear 10sp wheel with no squeezing or prying. I'm planning to set this up as a proper 2x10 with the original downtube shifters working in friction mode. The RX100 brakeset w/ levers seems more than adequate for what is to be fair weather neighborhood ride.
