You are so right about the west and sadly Colorado is be becoming the most expensive part of it! I am a native of Colorado Springs so it sucks I might have to leave just to live!
My only concern with the south is the weather! Tornadoes floods horrible humidity etc. That and I still need to be able to use the bike as main transportation so having bike paths and bike lanes is a needed situation! Plus I really don't have any idea where we should go?
