37-miler around big bear lake, baldwin lake (dry) and a little excursion up hwy 38 towards onyx summit (but turned around after 3-4 miles).
the high desert/lower mtns interface around baldwin lake is pretty with long views. didn’t come across any convenience stores or support in the baldwin lake area so go prepared.
