Speaking of historic homes, the farmhouse where Jim Croce lived for several years and wrote/recorded most of his music is in Lyndell PA and we ride by it frequently on our rides. On yesterday’s ride I noticed they put up a big metal “historical significance” sign out front and, maybe not coincidentally, a crowd of maybe 50 people on the property. Every other time we have ridden by there is no one there. He is buried in a Jewish cemetery about 1 mile from our house. He was an amazing talent, taken away too early from us.
