Be careful with those Clif Bloks -- they're very sticky. A ride buddy got some stuck on a tooth at the gum line during a long event ride, and she ended up with a big dental bill.
I quit with any kind of "gummy" block stuff. I have too much dental work, much of it aging, and have no desire to pull out a filling or a crown with those sticky things. I can't think of anything they do that gels do much easier and quicker.
