Such a fair price point.
I never understood why cycling helmets cost so much more than BMX or Skate helmets (around $70USD), other than the fact that we are willing to pay what they ask for them.
BMX and Skate helmets are legal for track racing and are rated to be used in up to 3 accidents as opposed to 1 for road cycling helmets.
If ProTec relaxes the 3 crash standard and made them good enough for 1 they’d probably be even lighter and cheaper.
$300-500 for a helmet is nuts. I have a Casco Warp III and I paid retail price for it. It’s simply not worth that money.
