In true N+1 fashion, I recently picked up a 2020 Specalized Allez Elite E5. Covid special, was bought, stored in a garage, and never ridden. I paid $963 for this bike, with the stated purpose of it being my “trainer bike”. Of course I have a Tarmac for road riding, and a Diverge for gravel riding, so lets have an Allez for trainer riding.
Of course to make it mine it needs new handlebars, stem, pedals. And now I am going to take it on the road to see what it can do, so we need speed and cadence sensors.
This N+1 thing is expensive. :-).
