John I can't find any numbers/lettering neither on the rim, nor on the tire. Only marking I found is Panasonic Panaracer Practice 270 and Made in Thailand.
My wheels are definitly tubular. Need new tires asap, but can't order them because of unknow size + I would like to run little bit higher sidewall if possible, for better ride quality in streets.
Also, I looked for serial number today. It is Y2005253. After some research into serial number threads I figured out that Y stands for 1996 model? Am I right? If not please correct me. Because I couldn't find this model in 1996 catalog...
