in your case, don’t push. I’m no doc but chest congestion can lead to or is bronchitis and can lead to damage. That happened to me 1986 when against my doctor’s advice, I continued to try to ride though it for weeks and I didn’t get well until I locked my bikes up in the shop and gave my wife the key. My chest X-rays show permanent scarring.
Thanks, I , like John and yourself, have always pushed through. It's too late for me too. Plus I'm putting on weight not riding, well I have been riding but it's not enough. It'll get better one way or another.
