Something like this. Mine are North Face, like THESE. They are very durable and waterproof. I get them a size bigger than my normal pants so I can throw them on over my work clothes. In the winter I add a pair of long "polar fleece" pants under the shell if it's below zero Fahrenheit. (Chicago, IL)
