Mine was red with gold trim. Lugs were painted, and the head lugs were fake (one piece lugs and head tube). My brother's was gold with red trim.
I rode mine for 8 years, from December 1962 to March 1971, when I bought the American Eagle Semi-Pro (Nishiki Competition) and set up the Bianchi for my college sweetheart (now wife of 49 years), with Peugeot UO-18 style upright bars and Schwinn TwinStik shift levers.
