I have that same Bottecchia Giro in silver. I paid all of $250.00 for it in mint condition. Well, brand new condition back in 1972. My first "real" bike. I recall it didn't take the bike shop long to convince me that it was a lot of bike for the money at the time. The tires are glued on? What the heck is the deal with that. Still have the sales slip somewhere. Turned it into a campground cruiser back in the '80's and stupidly threw some stuff away. Now I'm trying to get it back to it's former road bike days.
