Definitely true, but in the case of the Della Santa, it wouldn't have mattered to me what was on the drive side!
I asked someone once (not really a bike person) why they didn't post drive-side pics. They replied that they didn't think anyone wanted to see the "distraction" of the chainrings and such. No, we REALLY, REALLY do.
