update: good prognosis

I saw the urologist today and I am doing well. The prostate is still inflamed, but all my plumbing is working properly and the catheter was removed. I am still taking Cipro for 5 more days, and today I started a new med to help shrink the prostate. I have a follow up in one month, until then, still limited activity with no biking and no return to the school bus before the follow up. I have done a few short rides, but the doc says stay off for now as a precaution. That does make sense as the goal is to do away with the inflammation, so anything that may aggravate the inflammation needs to be avoided. For now, I am pleased to have the catheter and the discomfort gone.

This was definitely one of the more challenging and painful health issues I have been through.
