I got out for my first ride of December at midday today. Arlington to Lowell Rd Concord via the MM and RBT.
It was brisk and peaceful. The RBT was wetter than it has been since Spring, but still quite dry by historical standards. Lots of trees have fallen out that way lately.
This big boy was already down, and cleared, when I rode that way on Thanksgiving weekend:
A bit further west this more recent fall required giving the bike a lift:

From there I retraced my path back home via Depot Park. And now for the critical late season restroom status:
Yup, they're closed for the season. I am guessing this changed on the first of the month, as they were still open last Tuesday.
I found welcome bladder relief at the Lexington Visitor's Center. BTW, if you haven't tried it, you
can get a bike in those bathrooms without too much trouble. Not as spacious as Depot Park, but it works.
