There's a guy in my neighborhood who walks his kid to school while riding a unicycle. He makes it look pretty easy, so I figured "why not." I picked mine up from a Berkeley college kid with an assortment of them. He asked me if I was sure I wanted to buy it about 5 times and I insisted.

I gave it a try a few times without much success. Then I got serious (determined) and spent MONTHS trying to make one complete pedal revolution. I just couldn't make it happen. After too many close calls and ugly falls I decided to give it to my nephew. He's 19, athletic, and can't get it to go either so I don't feel so bad.

It's much more difficult than it looks.
