In my quest to find some lost fitness I went out for a couple threshold climbing repeats today. On the same course as last week I put out 21 and 24 ave watts more over the 12 min intervals. Even better, the ave power of the last 8 min of each interval was exactly the same.
I'm slowly raising the volume on these interval days while trying to maintain some long distance work on the weekends. I'll get to 2x20 sometime later this month and hopefully not lose any power doing it.
