In US, left hand up is right turn.

The left turn is more critical and more often the time where the mirror will be employed. If you put the mirror on the left glove (usually in right side traffic like US) and using the mirror to turn left, you'll be giving a conflicting signal of turning right.

This is why I think the glove mirror is not a very good idea.....unless nobody knows how to read bike hand signals or riding in very low volume rural road traffic.
