The 2022 Madone SLR 6 with mechanical Ultegra is $7k. $8k, while crazy money, is not out of line for the new model with a more expensive drive train. I’m not in that market, but the price of the new bike is not out of line with prior models.
There is still the Madone SL for the peasants.
