The Jubilee front was initially spec'ed for the Trek 720 loaded touring bike, with a triple crank. It works fine with that, but Trek eventually chaged the spec to a Huret Success front or Simplex Super LJ, not because the Jubilee couldn't handle the triple, but because too many of the clamps were breaking on the assembly line.

If you do decide to use the Jubilee front, be careful when mounting it, to prevent breaking the clamp.
