They were shocked, SHOCKED to hear that a serious cyclist stays away from bike trails.
I rode on a bike trail today, I kind of hate it most times but it's pretty quiet and I was in a dont-want-to-get-kitted-up mood but still wanted to ride a bit.
Thankfully your post earlier reminded me that it was Bastille day, so of course I had to take the French fixed gear and infiltrate the local gated community. That trail has an access point to get inside the gates.
