I will agree that "you are as young as you feel" is a positive attitude to have.
But I will say last night when I went to pick up my food, there was a young lady in her early 20s wearing boy's Levi jeans. 40 years ago I would have looked at her entirely differently than I do now. The only thought that came to mind was "isn't that cute how she can pull that off". Also 40 years ago I carried a condom in my wallet. Now I carry a pack of spare hearing aid batteries.
