You sound like the old school coaches who used to make their young riders sit on a trainer starting at a brick wall for 4-5 hrs. Helps prepare them for the drudgery of tour cycling

I don't mind riding alone outdoors but indoors is a different matter. I'm good for 60-80 min with music indoors but it's never as pleasant as riding outside.
