Today marked the first morning with the new Peugeot. It got me to work on time before sun up. It carried me home safely through rush hour traffic.

Immediate observations: Rear brake is soft, and needs adjustment. Chain, and cables needs lube Saddle, and cockpit both need a minor fit adjusting. Hard, heavily corroded gum hoods feel a little creepy. Cheap Cheng Shun brane tires are retched, and need to be replaced pronto!

Otherwise there were no breakdowns, and no unpleasant surprises. The round trip, while short and focused, was also very enjoyable. After too many months without a bike, it felt great to back in the saddle, and rolling on pavement again.

I took advantage of the employee bike parking in the restaurant dining room!
