i agree somewhat. That said it is no worse than being on the phone and driving, or on a motorcycle with a comm. I have a radio with an ear piece for work, one of the secret service looking things for my radio, it has a tube for the ear but it also somewhat open to allow in outside sound. I get the radio traffic loud and clear and still get most of the ambient noise around me as well.
