My advice that will expedite the healing process as well as reduce scarring is to keep the wound wet. I prefer Neosporin, but any antibiotic ointment will work. As for the sticking to the wound, when removing the bandage, make sure not to pull straight away from the skin. Instead, keep the bandage close to the skin and pull backwards.
