also its August! It's hot, humid and smoky (in your area) and racing is over. Take a break!!! That's what I'm doing. Track on Tuesdays and Thursday nights and outside of that just commuting and riding on the weekend if/when I feel like it for the next 4-6 weeks. CTL still at ~85 so I can afford to lose some before I build it back up.
I still have 1, maybe 2 races (Mt Whitney SR and maybe CCCX) then I'm done until November. I have a vacation in Spain during October with no bike and another 7 weeks of easy riding. Things start out so early here you have to start training in November.
Next year I'm planning the Belgian Waffle Ride and La Ronde Tattiene so its going to be a big year.
