Breaking a pattern, I took the GT up the Minuteman to Lexington Center and back at mid-morning, while the heat was just starting to build and before the ground-level ozone got nasty. I rode hard, put in my fastest time on this route in recent memory, and perspired freely, appreciating the evaporative cooling that followed. I took one picture, while pausing to take a drink at the turn-around point.
