Originally I got an ebike because of covid breathing issues, but now that I'm much better it's completely changed. I'm hooked because of the fun factor, convienence of not arriviving sweaty at work, speed, the additional exercise I get due to my riding longer when out & about, and overall joy I get from the darn things. They're just so much fun to ride. I could honestly care less about traditional "cyclists" disdain for ebikes. I've always admired them, but I was afraid to test the electric bike waters.
