I agree but I come from a racing culture background where bags are to be as small as possible or use a jersey pocket. In my case, I'm too forgetful to use a jersey pocket so I use a small seat bag about the size of my dainty fist on both of my uprights. If it's chilly, I often carry an empty wide mouth water bottle to cram tights, arm warmers or anything else I can force in there. Where I live, a single 550ml water bottle will carry you to the next water stop on almost any ride. Makes that second water bottle cage a handy storage location.

I actually had a water bottle case, made by black burn, but I go through too much water, and I don’t like stopping. Ended up leaving it at a 7/11 when I swapped it out for a propel.
