This morning, I was heading east and a father and son were heading west on local Rail trail. While crossing an old steel truss railroad bridge, a poor little squirrel was caught in the middle of the bridge. He had no where to go! It was like a scene from a movie but at the last second, it sprinted and leaped for safety just I was exiting the bridge. I was braking and wasn't really going to hit it, but the poor little thing didn't know it.
