Also looking to beat the heat yesterday, I did a very pleasurable ride from West Corona to Oceanside. The temps were perfect and once near the beaches the June gloom kept everything really nice. Stopped into Breakwater Brewery in Oceanside for grub and beer.
I was told it got to a high of 107 in the Coachella Valley, where I live.
