Much, much better ride today:
- Out to Newton Center via Beacon, goal was to test the new freewheel and it's nice, big, knees-and-hills-friendly cogs.
- Up to Comm then east to Prince, roll down into West Newton and head west on Washington.
- Left (northwest) on Crafts Street, which turns into Waltham Street and then into High Street.
- Down Moody Street, which is blocked off from traffic but full of folks having lunch outside. Lunch would be nice right about now.
- Charles River Greenway all the way back to Brighton, under the Pike at Brooks Street and then back home via Faneuil, Arlington, Spearhawk, etc.
18 miles and zero near-death experiences. Gotta love it.
