I'm going to check out the Halo. But not to be argumentative but lightweight cycling skull caps don't inhibit "breathing" of the head. The ones I use freely wick sweat to dissipate through the helmet's vents, probably more than without, and aren't noticeably hotter than without - to me. But I rarely ride warmer than 80-85F. I also wear them to protect my thinning pate from the harmful rays of the sun.

This is one example. I have a couple of even lighter ones but can't remember the make/model.
