I'll second this. The Tacomas and Tundras have suffered, unfortunately, by the manufacturer's poor choice in frame contractors. But other than that they are very good. My 2004 Tacoma 4 banger is all I need. And I don't find it too gutless. I drive like an old lady these days anyhow.

Good to hear about your second chance. My advice, un-solicited, is ..... concentrate on the girl. Forget the bikes. Or at least, keep the value of each in perspective. She sounds like a keeper.
