For the gravel bike, but just for pottering around town, not actual gravel riding, I just bought a pair of violet anodized RockBros platform pedals on-the-cheap off Amazon, just $30. I only needed pedals which looked decent and did a decent job, so I’m thinking I may have scored big with these, because they seem awfully nice in 306g worth of aluminum and stainless for less than what many nylon pedals cost. The bearings are stiff and don’t spin freely, which hopefully augers well for a long service life; I’d be surprised if I log more than 30 fair weather miles/yr on these pedals, so I’m hoping they last many years.
